After several invitations from fiddlin' pal Paul Johnson, I finally attended my first mountain man rendezvous in October. The rendezvous is a re-enactment of the annual gatherings of the free trappers from 1825 to 1840. Great fun! I planned to stay for one day and ended up staying four. Even got myself outfitted. Check out the pix below.
