Those Ramblin' Guys
 The Red Ribbon Ramblers: The "Amazing" Bruce Barnes, "The Mel Man", Larry "The Deer" Joslin. We each placed second in our respective divisions at the San Diego Bluegrass Club's annual Banjo and Fiddle Contest at the Del Mar Fair. This trio masquarades variously as the Grandaddy-o's, Mel and the Bay Jammers, the Crestacians, and the Spoiled Fruit & Vegetable Dodgers. We can be heard most Friday evenings (and sometimes on Saturdays) at the Coyote Country coffeehouse in Crest, California, east of San Diego. |
