Barrel Tasting
Janis and I check the progress of the pinot noir at the Charles B. Mitchell Winery in California's Gold Country while celebrating our 10th wedding anniversary last year. The winery also makes a zesty zinfandel (the red, not the white). The trip also included stays in the historic gold-mining towns of Murhpys and Sutter Creek.
