Postcards From New Zealand

G'day, mates! I apologize for this more impersonal approach to letter writing, but I've received so much e-mail from you all wondering just what the heck I'm up to down here in Kiwi Country that I can't keep up with it all ... and keep my job. (I am, after all, here to work — at least some of the time.) Mind you, as a favor to you, I have taken on the mundane chore of sampling New Zealand's eateries, brew and wine (not necessarily in that order), so I can offer you some tips, should you ever come this way.

Soooooo ... here are some "e-postcards" (work in progress) describing some of my adventures — and misadventures — as I bumble humbly along, chasing the ever-ellusive scoop on this arcane America's Cup regatta. Think of this as the New Zealand edition of the Red Pint Rag. If you're looking for information about the competition itself, you'll have to go the website I'm affiliated with: americascup.org.

I am also writing a series of columns, Notes From New Zealand, for the San Diego Metropolitan magazine.

As they say in Kiwiland ...
           Cheers,
           Larry
